Darby McCarthy

Multimedia Journalism developed as a professional interest for Darby after her time spent studying Spanish, Political Science, Law, and Philosophy at MTSU. After completing an internship with Gannett, where she wrote for several papers including The Tennessean, The Leaf Chronicle and The Daily News Journal, she accepted a position with Scripps station NewsChannel 5 in Nashville as a Digital Content Producer. One year later, she moved to Wisconsin to join the team at NBC 26 as an MMJ.

 

Darby has appeared on national television as a prize-winning contestant on Wheel of Fortune, and hosted her own radio show on WMTS 88.3 for three years, promoting musicians from Tennessee. She won an award as a female on-air talent with the station in her time working there. Welcome to her page!
